Introducing the "Missouri Belt" – an embodiment of enduring craftsmanship. The raw cowhide undergoes meticulous tanning on the Saint Louis Mississippi riverfront by Hermann Oak, one of the oldest tanneries in the United States, with a legacy dating back to the 1800s. Originally established to supply harness leather to wagon trains following the Lewis and Clark trails, Hermann Oak remains a family-owned institution, consistently producing the strongest leather.

Following the time-honored tanning process, the belt strap is precision-cut, finished, and expertly assembled by Noble Buffalo, also located in Saint Louis. If your quest is for the belt with unparalleled longevity, look no further. This belt features the thickest hide ever worked with in our shop, measuring 5mm to 5.5mm, equivalent to a robust 12-14oz leather. Anticipate enduring quality that spans decades, making it an investment in both style and durability.

Exactly the Missouri Belt I was looking for

I used to purchase good, thick, quality belts when I was a kid and haven’t found them in a long time. This exactly what I used to get, but substantially better made. It will work for weekend activities as the leather is exceptional quality and be usable for work! Not cheap but it is worth every penny! Beautiful.

    wow

I received my belt this morning (English) Excellent, lovely finish smashing hardware a dream. The years I have spent looking for a belt of this quality and finish, not to mention the very acceptable price. Delivery excellent tracked all the way which by any means is not easy in France. These belts are excellent come in a box that make perfect gifts that last a life time. Brilliant.!

    Good stout belt

It fits nice, looks to be made of high quality, and it looks really nice. Price might've been a tad high but I like to support smaller shops and pay for good quality.

    Quality control issue. Rough edge.

The belt is handsome and hefty. My issue is the finish - its colour is very deep and rich, but the leather is quite rough along the edge. I frayed my pants removing the belt and couldn’t understand why - until I ran may hand along the edge which was quite coarse, almost sharp. I’m disappointed in the “quality control” of the belt, sad to say.
