- All of my handmade belts will be cut to order. Each strap is taken off of a full leather hide. The leather is kept as full thickness.

- Unlike similar handmade belts, I will take the time to bevel/round the edges, apply wax and polish the full edge of the belt. The result is a belt with a smooth edge, soft feel, and glides easily through pant loops.

This belt is cut directly from horsehide tanned at the storied Horween Tannery in Chicago, IL, and left un-finished in an undyed Russet natural tone. The edges are beveled and polished smooth with beeswax, giving it a subtle, durable shine. Because horsehide typically comes in shorter lengths, if you don’t see your size in the dropdown menu, shoot me an email to check availability. Hand-crafted by me (Noble Buffalo) in St. Louis, MO, this belt is 100% made in the USA and built to last. Enjoy a piece of genuine craftsmanship that fits right into everyday life.

I bought two.

One brown with the brass buckle with roller. The other black with the steel buckle with roller. Nice high quality belts.

Improvements: It's not an inexpensive belt but you get what you pay for and I appreciate the craftsmanship.

Fantastic belt. Neatly packaged and shipping time was totally reasonable given it is made to length. Exactly what I was looking for - a very high quality, sturdy, dress belt that appears as though it will last a lifetime. The 1.25" width seems perfect for dress pants as a thicker width would look off in slacks. Very satisfied.

Great craftsmanship!

Belts arrived as scheduled and were phenomenal. Colors and material were excellent and were true to the measuring guide.

Likes: I like the quality of the leather and the craftsmanship. I like supporting small business that take pride in their products.

Improvements: In the coming year or two I will be replacing a 20 year old leather jacket that I bought on my honeymoon in Florence. So far I have only found about 2 or 3 U.S. companies that make leather jackets. Maybe expand?

Casual Plus

After going through one or two department store belts a year, I wanted something better and something made in America. After some searching I found Noble Buffalo. I purchased this belt as a casual belt to wear with shorts and jeans. But since its arrival I have also been wearing the Soft Buffalo Leather belt with business attire. It works great to informalize more traditional office or business wear. I will definitely be buying more from Noble Buffalo, likely a 1.25 inch for suits or to dress up jeans when necessary.
